Descriptions - White Tea
ORGANIC WHITE PEONY - Traditionally produced in Fujian province, China, white teas are usually sun-dried, lightly heated or air dried. This process arrests any fermentation. Organic White Peony has a unique bamboo fragrance and subtle nutty taste. The finish is sweet and long lasting. It is also soft on the palate and free of the astringency characteristic of other teas. It is made from downy buds that have two small leaves attached to their base. The name peony comes from its resemblance of its shape (two leaves cradling the bud) to the peony flower.
ORGANIC SILVER NEEDLE - Silver Needle consists of only the young, silvery, down-covered buds that are handpicked in the early spring. The white tea bushes were domesticated from wild tea trees prized for their medicinal properties during the Song dynasty. The tea infusion is clear and mysteriously fragrant.
