Descriptions - Scented Teas

 

BLACK EARL GREY – A blend of high-grown Ceylon and India tea leaves scented with natural oil of bergamot.  The infusion yields a cup with good body, color which is bright and coppery, and a flavor and aroma that has citrus overtones.  This is an excellent quality Earl Grey.

BLACK EARL GREY DECAF - As above but without the caffeine - decaf process via the chemical free carbon dioxide method.

CEYLON GREEN EARL GREY - A blend of high-grown Ceylon tea leaves grown using time-honored Chinese cultivation methods.  Composed of two leaves and a bud, green tea leaves are gently scented with natural oil of bergamot.  Infusion yields a cup with balanced flavor and gentle aroma.  This tea retains all the goodness of a quality green tea with the subtle citrus-like flavor and aroma of a premium Earl Grey.

JASMINE PEARLS - China green leaf-bud sets are meticulously hand-rolled into pearl-like shapes and are then scented between five to seven times with only the finest jasmine blossoms. Once infused, the leaves beautifully unfurl to their original size. Color is pale green. Infusion produces an exquisite floral aroma and a delicate, but full, flavor. A visually beautiful, aromatic and intensely flavored tea. Jasmine tea. is said to reduce nervous tension, decrease saturated fat in the body, and increase circulation.
