Because they contain no leaves from the Camellia Sinensis plant, the following cannot be considered true "teas". They can best be defined as fruit and herb drinks. The following contain absolutely NO caffeine and can be consumed either as a hot or cold drink.
CHAMOMILE (Egyptian) - Large, whole chamomile florets are meticulously dried and processed to retain an excellent flavor. Infusion yields a cup that is yellow or caramel in color, has a pleasing floral aroma, and wonderful full flavor. We feel that Egyptian origin chamomile is the best of the chamomiles.
DREAM - This is a calming herbal infusion designed to promote tranquility and peace. Organic valerian root, which is prized for its relaxing effects, is meticulously blended with other fragrant herbs and spices to create an exceptionally unique and soothing infusion. Dream contains organic valerian root, organic fennel seed, organic catnip herb, organic passion flower herb, spearmint, peppermint, clove, lemongrass, cardamon see, natural Egyptian basil oil, and natural ginger oil.
LEMONGRASS - Lemongrass grows throughout the tropics and has been used for centuries as a soothing, lemon scented "tea." Known in the Caribbean as "Fever Grass," many cultures have used lemongrass infusions to fight the cold and flu. Our lemongrass infusion has an intense lemon flavor and fragrance which imparts both sweet and spicy sensations. Brewed lemongrass can fill a room with an aroma of sweet citrus fruits.
LEMONGRASS MELANGE - This is an herbal infusion with notes of lemon and subtle nuances of champagne. This caffeine-free blend has a long lasting and pleasant finish. It has a refreshing and cleansing quality, and contains lemongrass, red rose buds, Chinese matrimony vine fruit, and clove.
ORGANIC PEPPERMINT LEAVES - Organically cultivated in the Cascade Mountains of Oregon, these peppermint leaves yield an infusion which is pale green in color. The aroma and flavor are striking. Although wonderful on their own, these leaves can be combined with chamomile for a great herbal infusion. They can also be combined with black tea leaves to create an intensely flavored blend.
ORGANIC ROOIBOS - Native to the mountains of South Africa, Rooibos is prized for its great flavor and nutritional value. Our Rooibos is 100% certified organic and of the highest quality. It is naturally caffeine-free and is thought to help relieve such problems as insomnia, nervous tension, indigestion, and allergy symptoms.
ROOTS - The hermetic metaphysicians of millennia past employed roots and other botanicals to protect and strengthen their spirits against the ills of the day. Roots is a spicy, sweet, sour and fruity conjuring of powerful Wei Qi (protective energy) tonic herbs. Roots contains ginger root, schisandra berry, cultivated American ginseng root, orange peel, rosehip, licorice root, hibiscus sepals, and natural sweet orange, tangerine, and mandarin fruit essences.
SCARLET - A vibrant embodiment of beauty, Scarlet is a refreshing fruit infusion with a bright, tart and fruity flavor profile. Scarlet includes dehydrated fruits, rosehips, hibiscus sepals, lemongrass and a blend of natural fruit oils. This is great served hot or cold.
