Kilted "Ladies from Hell" Blend - This blend was created to honor the kilted Highland Regiments from Scotland. They fought so ferociously and bravely during WW1 that the Germans called them the Ladies from Hell. This unique blend is rich, somewhat earthy (you have to have a taste of the trenches), complex and bold. It carries you through the day - and through the night if necessary. It is one of my favorites. The image below comes from the album cover of the Pipes and Drums of the 1st Battalion - The Black Watch - also known as the Ladies From Hell (Greentrax Recordings). We have a limited supply of these CD's available at our shop - beautiful piping! The cost of the CD is $17.00. Also available are our "Ladies from Hell Blend" T-shirts - M, L, XL ($15.00) and XXL ($17.00)

Irish Heritage Blend (aka Eireann Go Bragh Blend) - This blend was created to honor the rich Irish heritage that exists throughout the world. It was also inspired by the magnificent piping and spirit of the Irish Heritage Pipe Band in the San Francisco Bay Area. This brew is a blend of Latin American and African coffees. It has a nice spiciness to it that reminds you of the Irish spirit.

Mocca Blends - Mocca refers to the ancient port of Mocca (Mocha) in Yemen. Coffee had commonly been described as having a chocolate-like taste. And since Mocca served as the point of origin for the exportation of coffee, "chocolate-like" and Mocca became synonymous. These blends are made with Yemen Arabian Mocca Rimy coffee beans in combination with beans from other regions. The liveliness and complexity of the Yemen makes a great companion to many of the other regional coffees. If you would like to make your own creation, give us a call.
Mocca Sirocco - This is the house blend of my favorite fine coffees from the three major growing regions - Arabia/Africa, Indonesia, and the Americas. It is complex, full-bodied, and quite unique. It has medium acid, a hint of fruit, and a rich lingering finish.
Red Horse - This blend was inspired by one of our first customers, Red, who experimented with different blends and came up with this winner. It has become one of our most popular blends and was featured by BetterBeans.com, an online coffee retailer and coffee club in New York, as its "Coffee of the Month" for November, 1999. It is a blend of African and Indonesian beans with an emphasis on Africa. It is bold, complex, medium acid, and full bodied.
Caballo Blanco - This is a popular blend of coffees from the Americas. It is smooth, medium-bodied, moderate acid, and medium complexity. It is a tone down from our other blends, yet very satisfying and enjoyable.
White Horse Espresso Roast Blend - This is a dark roast blend traditionally used for espresso drinks, yet, we have many customers who like it as their regular cup. It is well-balanced, rich, and invigorating.
White Horse French Roast Blend - This blend has become extremely popular. It is a traditional French Roast blend with some modification on our part. It is dark roasted and full bodied, yet well-rounded with a nice clean finish. It has medium acidity and a hint of sweetness.
White Horse Italian Roast Blend - This is a traditional blend of high grown, dense, hard bean coffees. It is dark roasted and is nicely balanced. It is smooth, medium acidity, medium body, and moderate complexity.
